In The latest edition of Winds (Summer 2015), we published an article by Tim Reynish on the music of Adam Gorb. The heading “?it has a highly adaptable and magical tonal palette ? it can be in turn boldly vibrant and delicately beautiful ? thrillingly powerful and hauntingly tender ? earnestly solemn and joyously comical” was incorrectly applied as the header for this article.
While it could indeed be descriptive of Adam’s music it was actually written by Christopher Hussey as part of his promotional materials for the “Twisted Skyscape” CD project?? that he and Shea Lolin produced celebrating British wind music which included one of Adam’s compositions.
The CD was released this year and written about in the Winter 2014 edition of Winds.
BASBWE, among many others, helped to fund and promote this project.
We apologise unreservedly to Christopher Hussey and Adam Gorb for the misrepresentation of these materials and any confusion caused.
We also unreservedly urge you, our members and as many others as you can interest to purchase a copy of this fabulous addition to new woodwind repertoire written by Philip Sparke, Gary Carpenter, Christopher Hussey and Adam Gorb.
