The performance on Thursday 22 September forms part of the London Symphony Orchestra's 2016/17 season launch week, and sees Philip Cobb perform as a soloist in the Haydn Trumpet Concerto. The concert will be conducted by newly-appointed LSO Principal Guest Conductor, Gianandrea Noseda, and will feature two other works that explored new musical possibilities ? Debussy's La mer and Shostakovich's Symphony No 5.
