Dear Friends,
New Sounds for Old Winds kicked off on on 5 June with a sunny programme of Mozart's Serenade K. 375 in E flat, and Beethoven's String Quartet Op. 18/1 (no strings attached, of course). It was wonderful to welcome a live, socially-distanced audience to Heath Street Baptist Church for the first time in months.

Help! We need an audience for our next concert!
The second concert in the series is this Saturday, featuring new windified versions of Mozart's Symphony no. 40 and Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op. 7. We'll be honest, ticket sales have been a bit slow for this beautiful programme - maybe it's the sunny weather? So if you are thinking of coming, please do book your tickets online to send us some encouragement! If you can tell your friends about the concerts, even better - the more the merrier!
